My Storefront Series focuses on the window displays of delis, bodegas and corner stores in various neighborhoods throughout the five boroughs of New York City. Drawing on the Dada concept of readymades and the art historical concept of still life, the project seeks to transform everyday objects into art by framing them in a specific context which highlights the beauty, complexity, and cultural significance of these often overlooked spaces.
